 Welcome to "Jesus the Leader" 

The Story of Jesus is the greatest. It answers our question of “Jesus, who are you?” by explaining the life, teaching, deeds, death and resurrection of Jesus.

 Let me explain a little.

“What did Jesus claim to be?”

Jesus claimed to the Messiah. The Messiah? What does that mean? The Messiah means anointed one. Christ means the same thing. So, Jesus is the Messiah and the Christ. It means the chosen one of God for the good purpose.

 For what purpose is he chosen? John the Baptist says that Jesus is the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. Jesus was chosen to take away the sins of the world.

 So, boldly, Jesus says to people, “Your sins are forgiven!” So boldly, Jesus says to his students, “You have authority to forgive people!” In this way, Jesus takes away the sins of the world. This forgiveness is possible because of the way Jesus lives… through his teaching, life, suffering, death and resurrection. 

 Here I modified the story what is traditionally known as "The Gospel of John." I want you to feel how Jesus feels. I want you to feel the character of Jesus whether it is divine and humane. I think this is John’s intention. 

So, I modified and dramatized for modern ears.

You will read a story that is told by a first-person account, where Jesus uses the pronoun “I” so that you would sense how Jesus was sharing. In other words, it is an imaginative memoir of Jesus.
